Terms of service
These terms apply when you use this website or start a trial or subscription to GetDinerPOS. By signing up you agree to them on behalf of your business.
The service
GetDinerPOS is hosted point-of-sale software for restaurants. We provide it online; you provide the devices, internet connection and any card terminals and payment processing agreements.
Free trial
New accounts get a 30-day free trial without a payment card. At the end of the trial you choose a plan or the account is paused; paused trial data is deleted after 60 days.
Plans, prices and billing
Prices are listed on the pricing page per country and per location. Monthly plans are billed in advance each month; annual plans are billed yearly with 2 months free. UAE prices include VAT; US and Pakistani prices exclude applicable taxes, which are added. Adding a location is billed from that day. We give at least 30 days’ notice of price changes.
Cancellation and refunds
There is no minimum term. Cancel any time from your account; monthly plans run to the end of the paid month. Annual plans can be refunded pro-rata within the first 30 days. Details in the refund policy.
Managed website and bundle
The managed website has a one-time setup fee and a monthly fee. The setup fee is non-refundable once design work has started. Your domain stays yours. In the Blue Plate Bundle the setup fee is waived.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the service for unlawful activity, to store data you have no right to store, to send spam through the CRM, or to attack or overload our systems. We may suspend accounts that do, after notice where reasonable.
Your data
Your business data (menu, sales, customers, staff) belongs to you. We process it only to provide the service and support you, keep it confidential, back it up, and let you export it. When you close your account you can export your data; we delete it within 90 days after closure unless the law requires us to keep it.
Payments and third parties
Card payments run through your own payment processor under your agreement with them. Integrations and third-party services are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages.
Availability and support
We aim for high availability and schedule maintenance outside peak restaurant hours where possible. Support is available during the hours on the contact page.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the contracting GetDinerPOS entity is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or business protections in your country. We will name the contracting entity on your invoice.
