Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA.

What we do

• Colour pairs checked for contrast in every theme and colour palette.
• Everything works with a keyboard; menus and dialogs trap and return focus and have visible close buttons.
• Motion is reduced automatically if your system asks for it, or with the “Reduce motion” switch.
• Arabic and Urdu pages are mirrored right to left.
• Text can be enlarged to 125% from the accessibility panel and zoomed to 200% without loss of content.

Open it from the display (sun/moon) button at the top of any page: text size, high contrast, reduce motion and highlighted links. Open the panel now

Known limitations

• Decorative 3D and particle effects are hidden from assistive technology and switch off with reduced motion.
• Some third-party embeds (map, spam check) are outside our control.
• We have tested in Chromium-based browsers at phone, tablet and desktop sizes; tests on physical iOS and Android devices are pending.
