Commissary to branches
Daily transfers from a central kitchen instead of fake purchases.
Stock transfers
A stock transfer in GetDinerPOS moves quantities from one location to another with a recorded document: the items, the quantities, the sending and receiving location, the status and any shipping cost. Stock leaves the sender and arrives at the receiver only when the transfer is completed, so both inventories stay right.

Commissary−6 bags hash browns
Downtown+6 bags · in transitBecause “just grab a case from the other store” is how stock disappears. A case of bacon moves in a manager's car, nobody writes it down, and a month later one location shows a shortfall and the other a mystery surplus.
A transfer document is the cheapest control you can add. It costs a minute, and it means every movement between branches has a sender, a receiver, a quantity and a date.
Groups with a central kitchen or commissary use the same document daily: the commissary makes the dough and the pie fillings, and each branch receives a transfer instead of a purchase.
How it works
Pick the sending and receiving location, add items by name or barcode, and enter quantities.
Set the status to pending or in transit while the van is on the road. Add a shipping charge if you track delivery cost.
The receiving manager checks the delivery and completes the transfer. Stock moves in both inventories at that moment.
The stock transfer report lists every movement by date, location and staff member.
Try it with your own menu. 30 days free, and the onboarding desk will import your menu.

The manager checks stock at the other branches from the same screen, sees that Main Street has twelve bags, and creates a transfer for six. The driver takes them; downtown completes the transfer on arrival. Main Street's inventory drops by six, downtown's rises by six, and the cost moves with them.
